Depends on how they die. Not everyone gets cursed to be reborn.
[genbro doesn't think it's much of a curse, but it is true that it depends on how they die! boobro's the most notable example with his mistake in graverobbing, but most people are put under a curse by a certain type of ghost pokemon or they are reborn if they haven't finished something yet
